Mobile phones have become almost essential to today's busy lifestyle and when it comes to those people previously anchored to their offices by the need to keep in touch with clients, they have added freedom.
But mobile phone batteries do break down, mainly because users are unsure about how to treat them properly.
Brett Potter of Beach-Side Mower Centre, Warilla offers a service to mobile phone users to extend the life of batteries.
"People should let their phone batteries run right down before attempting to recharge them otherwise air bubbles form in the battery cells interfering with the memory," he said.
"The battery thinks it has been fully charged when in fact it has not and users may find they are getting only around two hours use when it should get up to 20 hours."
And there's no risk to clients because if the battery is beyond help the service fee is refunded.
